All-in-One Modern Accounting & Digital Finance — Made Simple

#1 Product Of The Day

Cloud Access Anywhere

Run your business from anywhere. IDup lives in the cloud — secure, always available, on any device, with nothing to install, nothing to update and nothing to back up yourself.

Locally installed business software quietly costs more than its licence. It ties your books to one computer, your files to one office and your continuity to one hard drive. Working from home means remote desktop. Bringing in your trustee means exporting a file. A laptop that dies on a Friday means a weekend of recovery, and an update means someone has to be the IT department.

IDup removes that entire category of problem. Your accounting, invoicing, CRM, projects, documents and messages live in one secure cloud workspace that opens in a browser or in the mobile app. The version is always current, the backups are automatic, the data sits on secure servers worldwide, and the people you invite — team, accountant, trustee — get their own login with exactly the permissions you choose. Your office is wherever you happen to be.

Core Features

Any device

Desktop, tablet or phone — the same IDup, with the same data, in real time. Start an invoice on a laptop, approve it from a phone, and check the figures on a tablet in a meeting without exporting anything.

Always available

Reliable uptime with no maintenance windows you have to manage and no server you have to own. Updates arrive in the background, so you always work on the current version without a migration project.

Automatic backups

Your data is backed up continuously and redundantly, so a lost laptop, a failed disk or a stolen phone costs you a device and nothing else. Business continuity stops depending on someone remembering to copy a folder.

Secure by default

Encrypted in transit and at rest, hosted on secure, GDPR-compliant servers worldwide, protected by granular roles, permissions and a full audit trail. Security is the default configuration, not an option you have to switch on.

Your office, everywhere

Approve, invoice and check your numbers from the road, from home, from a client’s site or from another country. Everything you would do at your desk happens in a browser or in the app, with the same data and the same permissions.

That matters most in the moments where waiting is expensive. Sending the quote while the customer is still interested. Booking the receipt before it disappears from your pocket. Approving a supplier payment before the discount window closes. Answering “what did we agree?” while you are still in the room.

It also removes the friction of distributed work. A team spread across three cities, a bookkeeper who works Tuesdays and a trustee in another canton all see the same live data, without shared drives, VPN gymnastics or a chain of emailed file versions.

Nothing to install or maintain

IDup updates itself — you always have the latest version, automatically, on every device. There is no installation, no licence server, no annual upgrade project and no compatibility check before you can open your own books.

New features simply appear. Legal and tax changes are handled in the platform rather than in a patch you have to apply, so keeping current is not a task on anyone’s list.

The cost side follows the same logic: no server hardware, no maintenance contract, no IT hours spent on updates and backups. What you pay for is the software you use, not the infrastructure around it.

Enterprise-grade security

Encryption, continuous backups and secure worldwide hosting keep your business data safe — and give you a straight answer when a customer or auditor asks where their data lives and who can reach it.

Access is controlled per person and per area: your accountant reaches the financial records without touching HR, a freelancer sees only their project, and someone who leaves the company is removed in one click rather than by changing a shared password.

Every action is logged, so you can prove what happened and when. That is the practical difference between data that is stored somewhere and data you can actually defend in an audit, a dispute or a security review.

One workspace, every device, one truth

Cloud access is only valuable when there is one version of the truth behind it. Remote access to five disconnected tools just means you can now argue about which number is right from the beach.

In IDup the cloud workspace holds everything at once: bookkeeping, invoices, customers, projects, documents, employees and conversations, on one database. Open it on a laptop in the office or a phone in a car and you see the same figures, updated by the same actions, with the same permissions applied.

That is what makes remote work actually work. No exports, no syncing, no “send me the latest file”, no version numbers in file names. The business has one current state and everyone authorised is looking at it.

Everything else is already included

Cloud access is one part of IDup, not the whole product — and you don’t pay extra for the rest. The same login gives you accounting with AI receipt capture, invoicing and online payments, tax filing and annual statements, financial reports, a complete CRM with leads, estimates, contracts and projects, a helpdesk, a client portal, employee and payroll management, permissions and multi-tenant workspaces.

It also gives you the modern layer most hosted tools simply don’t have: IDup AI as an assistant across the whole platform, an AI chatbot for your website, automated workflows that run recurring work for you, a social media agent, marketing campaigns, and a shared inbox that brings WhatsApp, SMS, email and social conversations into one place.

The practical effect is that going cloud is not a trade-off any more. You get more capability than a local installation ever gave you, available everywhere — on desktop and in the mobile app, GDPR-compliant, on secure servers worldwide, in 27 languages, with no prior knowledge required.

#Questions & Answer

Frequently Asked Questions

What can I do with IDup?

IDup unifies accounting, invoicing and payments, AI receipt capture, tax filing, annual statements and financial reports with a full CRM — leads, estimates and contracts, projects, tickets, calendar and a client portal. On top of that sit IDup AI, an AI chatbot, automation and a social media agent, a shared inbox for WhatsApp, SMS, email and social, marketing campaigns, employee and payroll management, permissions, multi-tenant workspaces, a document vault, cloud access and a mobile app for iOS and Android.

All of it runs behind one login, on one database, for one price — available from any device, anywhere, without installing a thing.

Where is my data stored?

On servers in the EU and Switzerland, encrypted in transit and at rest. You are not guessing about jurisdiction, and you can tell your own customers precisely where their data physically lives.

Backups are continuous and redundant, and you can export your data at any time in standard formats. Cloud convenience does not mean losing control of what is yours.

What if my internet connection drops?

IDup is a hosted platform, so an active connection is needed to work with live data — but the practical exposure is far smaller than with local software. A failure on your side costs you the current session, not your data, and the moment you are back online everything is exactly where it was.

On mobile you can capture receipts and photos on the move, and they upload as soon as a connection is available. In an office outage you can carry on from a phone with mobile data instead of losing the day.

Do I need an IT person to run it?

No. There is no server, no installation, no update cycle and no backup routine to manage. Creating your account takes minutes, and adding a colleague takes one invitation and a permission level.

Everything a small business normally pays an IT service for — patching, backups, remote access, user administration — is either automatic or a setting in the interface.

Can my team and my accountant work at the same time?

Yes. Multiple people work simultaneously on the same live data, each with their own login and their own permissions. Nobody has to wait for a file to be released, and there is never a second version in circulation.

Your accountant or trustee can be invited into the workspace and see exactly the areas you allow. That replaces the annual ritual of exporting, zipping and emailing your bookkeeping.

Is my data secure and GDPR-compliant?

Yes. IDup is GDPR-compliant, hosted on secure, GDPR-compliant servers worldwide, with encryption in transit and at rest. You decide exactly who on your team sees what through granular roles and permissions, and every change is traceable.

Documents and receipts are stored in an audit-proof archive, and every access is logged. Because everything sits in one platform, sensitive data stops being scattered across laptops, mailboxes and USB drives.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes — there are native apps for iOS and Android, plus the full platform in any modern browser. Photograph a receipt, approve an invoice, check a customer or answer a message from anywhere.

Push notifications tell you when a payment arrives, an approval is waiting or a client replies, so you can act in the moment instead of discovering it at your desk two days later.

How long does it take to get started?

Minutes, not months. Create your account, add your company details and start working — there is nothing to download and nothing to configure on your machine.

If you are moving from local software, you can start with the current period and keep your history as documents, or bring opening balances over. You get value on day one instead of after a migration project.
