Manage mandates and their periods
Add a trust client, plan the periods for bookkeeping, VAT, closings, taxes and payroll, and never miss a date.
Trust work is cyclical. The same client produces the same obligations every month, quarter or year. The risk is not difficulty but a missed date.
Add a trust client
- Open the customer in your customer list, or create a new customer.
- Tick Manage as trust client. The form shows how many you use, for example Clients: 1 of 1.
- Save. You see Trust client created.
If your limit is reached, the customer is still saved. Additional clients can be purchased in your plan. See Extra employees and extra companies.
Work a period
- Open Trust services → Clients and select the client. A mandate is Active, Paused or Ended.
- Choose the country profile. Available are Standard (neutral), Switzerland, Germany, Austria, United States and United Kingdom.
- Open Periods and select New period. IDup can also create several periods at once, for a calendar year or a different financial year.
- Request the documents the period needs. The client receives an e-mail and can upload in the app.
- Move the period through its steps, for example Documents requested, Documents received, Booked, Reconciled, Prepared, Awaiting approval, Approved, Filed, Closed. The steps depend on the area.
- Overview shows every mandate at once: on track, waiting for the client, or late.
Deadlines
Deadlines are suggestions that you must check yourself. They are marked that way on the screen.
Your clients
Each plan includes 1 trust client. Additional trust clients cost 29 USD per month. Periods are not counted separately.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
