Extra users, companies, tax clients and mandates
When you outgrow what a plan includes, you add capacity rather than jumping to the next plan.
Each plan includes a number of employees, customers, contacts and — for the professional families — tax clients or mandates. Those are the headline numbers you choose a plan by.
If you need a little more than your plan includes, capacity can be added on top instead of forcing a move to the next plan up.
What is counted
- Employees — people with their own access to the company workspace. Basic 1, Plus 3, Premium 5, Starter/Solo/Essential 5, Business/Team/Professional 20, Enterprise/Agency/Institutional 50.
- Customers and contacts — Starter 2,000 customers and 5,000 contacts; Business 20,000 and 25,000; Enterprise 100,000 and 100,000. The private plans are much smaller by design: Basic 10 and 30, Plus 30 and 100, Premium 100 and 200.
- Tax clients (tax advisor family) — 30, 100 or 250.
- Mandates (trustee family) — 30, 100 or 250.
- Storage — 1 to 100 GB depending on plan, with extra storage available.
Adding another company
A second company is a second workspace, not a second folder. IDup allows it under one condition, which exists for legal reasons rather than technical ones:
- The additional company must belong to the same group or the same owner as the first.
- Its company registration number (UID) is required, so the relationship can be checked.
