Get help from inside the app
Report a problem with a screenshot attached, and find out which version you are running.
A bug report that names the screen and carries a screenshot is answered in one exchange. One that says “it does not work” is not.
The app has a place for exactly that.
Step by step
- Open the help area of the app and choose Report a problem.
- Answer What went wrong? in your own words — what you did, what you expected and what happened.
- Add detail in Message if the first box is not enough.
- Use Attach screenshot to add a picture. It has to be an image file, and there is a size limit — the app says so rather than failing silently, with Please choose an image file. or a size warning.
- Send it. The app confirms the report went out.
The About screen
About shows which build you are running — named IDup iOS APP or IDup Android APP — together with the copyright line and a link to the Privacy & Policy page. Quote the version when you report something; it is the fastest way to rule out an old build.
Before you report
- Update the app — see Keep the app up to date.
- Check whether the same thing happens on the web. If it does, it is not an app problem.
- Check whether the screen is simply not in your plan or not permitted for your role.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
