Family members in a private account
A private plan includes more than one person, so a household is not one login shared by everybody.
Sharing a password inside a family is the normal thing to do and the wrong thing to do: nobody can see who changed what, and removing one person means changing it for everybody.
The private plans therefore include more than one person. Basic includes 1, Plus 3 and Premium 5.
Step by step
- Open Central → Team in your private area.
- Add the person with their name and e-mail address. They receive their own access rather than yours.
- Give them the rights you want them to have — rights are set per person, not shared.
- If you want them to have the app with chat and appointments, tick Invite to the IDup app on their record.
- To remove someone later, end their access there. Their own private IDup account, if they have one, is not affected.
What stays yours
- Anything you did not give them rights to.
- The letterbox mailboxes they were not granted.
- Your connections to other companies.
