A bug report that names the screen and carries a screenshot is answered in one exchange. One that says it does not work is not.

The app has two places for help. For questions and tickets to IDup, see Help and Support in the app. This article is about reporting a problem with the app itself.

Report a problem

  1. Open the help area of the app and choose Report a problem.
  2. Answer What went wrong? in your own words: what you did, what you expected and what happened.
  3. Add detail in Message if the first box is not enough.
  4. Use Attach screenshot to add a picture. It must be an image file, and there is a size limit. The app says so with Please choose an image file. or a size warning.
  5. Send it. The app confirms the report went out.

The report includes your name, your e-mail address and the app version, so we can help you faster. It contains no content of your account.

The About screen

About shows which build you run, named IDup iOS APP or IDup Android APP, with the copyright line and a link to Privacy & Policy. Quote the version when you report something.

Before you report

  1. Update the app. See Keep the app up to date.
  2. Check whether the same happens on the web. If it does, it is not an app problem.
  3. Check whether the screen is simply not in your plan or not permitted for your role.
