Chatbots on your website and in WhatsApp
A bot that answers from your own content, knows its limits, and hands over to a person cleanly.
The failure mode of a customer-facing bot is not being unhelpful. It is being confidently wrong, or refusing to let a frustrated person reach a human.
IDup's chatbot is built against both: it answers from your content rather than from general knowledge, and it escalates when a conversation moves past what it was given.
Step by step
- Open AI Studio → Chat Bots → AI Chat Bots and create a bot.
- Train it under AI Bot Knowledge Base — your pages, your documents, your answers. This is what decides how good it is.
- Add AI Bot Canned Responses for the answers that must be word-for-word.
- Set the handover under Human Agent, so a conversation that needs a person reaches one with the full history attached.
- Publish it to the channel you want: your website, or WhatsApp.
- Watch AI Bot Analytics for what it is asked and where it fails — that list is your next training round.
WhatsApp bots in the workspace
Marketing → WhatsBot is the WhatsApp side inside the workspace: connect the account, build message bots and template bots, use the bot flow builder, keep templates and canned replies, run campaigns including CSV campaigns, and read the activity log. Its settings live with the other settings.
Voice
AI Voice Bots answers by voice rather than text, and AI Realtime Voice Chat is the live version. Both are configured in the same place as the text bots.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
