Appointments and orders through the chatbot
Let your chatbot book appointments in IDup and sell from your IDup shop. Contacts it collects become leads.
A chatbot can do more than answer. It can book an appointment, take an order and pass the contact on to you.
Book appointments
- Create an appointment calendar under Appointments first.
- In the bot, choose that calendar. Your IDup calendars are listed in their own group.
- When a visitor asks for an appointment, the bot shows the free times right in its answer.
- After the booking the bot confirms the date, time and place. It adds links to change or cancel the appointment.
Direct Google calendars are no longer offered in this choice. A bot that already used one keeps working and shows a hint to switch.
Sell in the chat
- The bot sells from your IDup shop. Shopify or WooCommerce can be added.
- The visitor fills a cart, enters name, e-mail and phone, and gets a payment link.
- The link opens the IDup checkout with the payment methods of your company.
- Paid orders arrive as one order with the channel Chatbot and the bot's name. Customer, invoice, payment and stock follow as for any shop order.
If the cart is not paid after 30 minutes, it becomes a lead with the cart, the phone number and a link to the conversation.
Where you find the results
- Leads → All leads: contacts from chatbots, with e-mail or phone, as new leads. The same person is never added twice.
- Online Store → All orders: the orders.
