The calendar and appointments
Know which calendar does what: Appointments for bookings, My calendar for you, and the company calendar for dates.
A calendar that only holds meetings misses most of what has a date. IDup has three calendars on purpose.
- Appointments are the appointments that people book with your company. See Set up booking calendars.
- My calendar is yours. It shows your own appointments and the appointments of your companies. See Your own calendar.
- Calendar, under Automation / Workflows → Utilities, shows company dates together, such as deadlines of tasks and projects.
Appointments with connected people
If the other person is connected to your company, the appointment lands in their own calendar with Accept and Decline. A calendar file is attached to the e-mail. See Appointments with connected people.
Rooms and equipment
Projects & Tasks → Staff Booking is for rooms and equipment instead of people. It has Booking, Resource group, Resource and Report.
Connected calendars
Under Appointments → Integrations you connect Google Calendar or Outlook. What is busy there blocks the times in your booking calendars. IDup only sees when you are busy, never the content. Each booking can also appear in your own calendar. The tab Calendar subscription gives each staff member a feed for Apple or other calendars.
Dates and times
Dates and times in the calendars follow your region. See Date, time and number format.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
