Time tracking: clock in, weekly timesheet and absences
Clock in and out on the web, in the app or at a terminal, and report vacation or sickness in one place.
Time tracking is one place for working time, absences and payroll. The time clock, the task timer and work reports all feed the same record.
Clock in and out
- Open My time and choose Clock in.
- Use Break and Resume work for breaks. Choose Clock out at the end of the day.
- Add an entry by hand if you forgot. It goes through approval.
- Assign the time to a project, an order, a customer or an activity if you want.
- In the app one tap clocks you in. Without internet the clock entries wait on your phone and are synchronised later.
- A terminal on a tablet at the entrance lets employees clock in with their number and PIN, or with a QR badge. The company sets it up once under Settings.
- Task timers and work reports are counted automatically. Overlapping time is never counted twice.
Your week
My week is your weekly timesheet. It shows your times day by day against the target. If a break is missing, you see a note. Your company can have a missing minimum break deducted automatically.
Absences
Choose Request vacation or report sick.
- Vacation is a request. It goes through the approval workflow of your company.
- Sick, sick child and accident are reports. Nobody approves them. Your supervisors are told at once and mark them as acknowledged.
- Do not give a diagnosis. Only you, your supervisors and HR can read the remark.
- A medical certificate can be required from a day that your company sets. IDup reminds you.
- Colleagues only see “Absent”, never the type.
Public holidays of your canton are adopted automatically.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
