Approve times and close the month

Supervisors approve the times of their team. At the end of the month the company closes the month and payroll receives the figures.

Approve and correct

1. Open Team. The page shows who is working now and what waits for approval.
2. Select entries and choose Approve or Reject.
3. Open the correction requests. A request changes a time only when you accept it. The history keeps the old and the new value.
4. Process the absence reports under Absences. Sick reports are marked as acknowledged.

You never approve your own times. Every change is kept in the history with the person, the time and the reason.

Close the month

1. Each employee chooses Confirm for the month and declares that the times are correct.
2. A person with the right to close the month chooses Close month. Open entries count as approved.
3. Payroll receives the figures. Changes afterwards need a stated reason and are marked in the history.

In Reports you find target, actual, difference and overtime per person, the costs per project, and exports for payroll as CSV, Excel, or a template for bexio or Abacus. Working time records are kept for at least five years.

Models and settings

• Working time models define the target per day and the workload in percent. Assign a model to each employee.
• Settings hold the canton for public holidays, the break rule, rounding, core hours, the reminder “Still clocked in?” and the terminal.
• IDup warns about a missing break, a short rest period, a long working span and too many hours in a week. The limits follow the Swiss Labour Act as a suggestion. You can change them.
