Manage leads
Everything before somebody is a customer: the pipeline, the lead card, filters and turning a lead into a customer.
A lead is a person you might do business with. Keep them in IDup rather than in an inbox. When they convert, the whole history comes with them.
Pipeline or list
The page opens as a pipeline with one column per stage. The default stages are New, Contacted, Appointment scheduled, Quote and Won. Lost asks for a reason. Under More → Edit stages you can rename, colour, sort, add or hide stages. A stage that holds leads cannot be hidden.
Switch to the list for sortable columns and 25, 50 or 100 rows per page. IDup remembers your choice.
The lead card
A card shows the name, company, owner, source, value, last contact and the next step. A red line shows an overdue step. A grey line says No next step, with a button to plan one.
Step by step
- Select Add lead, or let one arrive from a web form, an import, a booking or a chatbot.
- Open the card. Call, write, add a Note or a Task, or book an Appointment from there.
- Use Log call to record the result, direction and duration.
- Drag the card to the next stage, or change it in the menu.
- When they say yes, select Convert to customer. Notes, appointments and follow-ups move across.
Filters and key figures
Filter by owner, source, score, labels, date and value. Save a combination as a view. The top row shows open leads, pipeline value, win rate and average time to win.
More tools
- Check for duplicates: a card flags possible duplicates. Merging deletes nothing, and you can undo it.
- Distribute new leads: under More, hand new unassigned leads to chosen people in turn.
- Lead scoring: points per lead from your own rules, shown on every card.
- Sequences: automatic e-mail and SMS steps after a lead is created.
- Lead Finder and Web forms: find companies, and turn website enquiries into leads.
- Reports: funnel, win rate by stage, source and person, forecast and lost reasons.
All leads from every source are in All leads and lead history.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
