Utilities and housekeeping

Every system has a drawer. In IDup it is called Utilities. It is worth knowing what is in it before you need it.

What is in Utilities

• Media — the file library of your workspace.
• Bulk PDF Export, e-Invoice Export, CSV Export and Bulk XML Exports — getting documents and data out.
• Import Tasks — bringing a task list in from a file.
• Calendar — everything that has a date.
• Map Cluster — your customers on a map.
• Announcements — a message to everybody in the workspace.
• Goals, Activity Log, Surveys and Email tickets log.

Backups

Take a copy before you do something you cannot undo. Open System → Database Backup or System → Full backup.

Logs worth knowing

• Activity Log — what happened in the workspace.
• Audit Log — who changed what. See Audit log.
• System → Logs — the technical log, with a Dashboard and Log Settings.
• Templates → Email templates → Email Log — what mail went out.

Miscellaneous

• QR codes — codes for text, Wi-Fi, phone, SMS, events, contact cards and locations.
• Form builder — forms with Staff Forms.
• Events — events with a date, type, category and link.
