Export your data
Everything you put into IDup can come back out — per area, as files you can open elsewhere.
Data you cannot get out is data you do not really own. IDup exports along the lines you work in rather than as one opaque archive.
Step by step
- For lists — customers, invoices, expenses, items — use the export button above the table. It produces a file you can open in a spreadsheet.
- For bulk work, open Automation / workflows → Utilities → CSV export for the standard lists and Bulk XML exports where a structured format is needed.
- For documents, use Bulk PDF exporter to get a set of invoices or other PDFs in one go.
- For accounting, export the ledger and the reports from the accounting area, in the period you need.
- For hours, use Export CSV in the hours view — it carries person, dates, durations, project, task, note, status and who decided.
Before you leave
- Export while the subscription is still active — do it before the last day, not on it.
- Download the attachments as well as the records; a list of invoice numbers is not the invoices.
- A database backup is available under Automation / workflows → Utilities → Database backup for a full technical copy.
Your rights over your data
The privacy documents on idup.com set out what is stored, on what basis, and how to ask for a copy or a deletion: Privacy policy, GDPR, Terms and conditions and Cookies policy.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
