Notes and reminders
Write private notes, share them, attach them to a customer or project, and be reminded.
Notes hold what is not ready to be a task: a call, an idea, a to-do. Each note is private to you until you share it.
Step by step
- Click New note. Enter a title and text. You can use bold, italic, underline and lists.
- Add a Checklist if you need one. Press Enter for a new item.
- Choose a Colour, or Pin the note to keep it on top.
- Set a Reminder in the future. IDup reminds you then.
- Click Save.
Share and link
- Share with a colleague as Read or Edit. Editing covers title, text, checklist and colour.
- Link a note to a customer, lead, contract, project, invoice, quote or staff member. It then appears on that record.
- Convert to task turns a note into a task.
Find notes
The chips All, Pinned, Shared with me, With reminder and Trash filter the list. Search covers title, text and checklist.
The All notes tab shows the notes on records that you may see, with filters for type, person and date.
Deleting
A deleted note goes to the trash, and Undo brings it back. Delete permanently works only from the trash and cannot be undone.
If a colleague changed a shared note meanwhile, IDup asks you to reload.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
