Orders and their status

Where an order goes after it is placed, and how the customer follows it.

An order has a life: placed, confirmed, prepared, shipped, delivered, invoiced. The value of recording it is that neither side has to ask.

Step by step

  1. Open IDup Shop → Order history, or CRM → Omni Sales → Order list if you sell across channels.
  2. Open an order to see its lines, its customer and its current status.
  3. Move it along as things happen. The status is what the customer sees.
  4. Produce the delivery note from the order when it ships, and the invoice when it is billed.
  5. Orders from a connected external shop appear here too — see Connect an external shop.

Orders become CRM records

An order from a connected shop can create the customer and a draft invoice in the CRM automatically, with duplicate protection so the same order is never imported twice.

Reports

Reports & analytics → Reports includes an Order report and a Quantities report for what sold and how much of it.
