Discounts, shipping and gift cards

These settings decide what your customers pay at checkout. All of them are in the shop settings.

Discount codes

1. On the settings page open the card Discount codes and press Manage discount codes. Then press Create discount code.
2. Choose percent or amount, the validity and how often the code can be used.
3. Save. Customers enter the code at checkout.

The discount applies to the goods, not to shipping, and is deducted before VAT. Codes do not apply to subscriptions. You can also set automatic discounts from an order value or quantity.

Shipping

Create a shipping zone for one or more countries. Each country belongs to exactly one zone. Add rates: flat, by order value or by weight, and optionally free above an amount. Checkout picks the cheapest matching rate. Pickup is always free. If you do not ship to a country, the customer sees a message to choose another country or pickup.

Gift cards

Issue a gift card, send it to the recipient by email and track the remaining balance. You can block a card. At checkout the customer redeems the code and a payment Gift card is recorded on the invoice.

Abandoned carts and prepayment

The list Abandoned carts shows carts that were not completed. With prepayment, orders paid by invoice can only be shipped after the payment has arrived.
