Connect an external shop
WooCommerce and Shopify shops feed their customers, products and orders into IDup.
If your shop already exists, the point is not to rebuild it in IDup. It is to stop copying its orders into your accounting by hand.
Step by step
- Open E-commerce / integrations → WooCommerce → Stores (or MyShopify) and add the shop with its credentials.
- Confirm the connection. Products, customers and orders start arriving.
- Orders, Customers and Products under the same menu are the imported data.
- For Shopify, Categories and Discounts come across as well.
- Decide in the shop settings what an incoming order should create — typically a customer and a draft invoice.
How many shops your plan allows
The number of external shop connections is limited per plan. Extra connections can be bought on top if you run more than your plan includes. The internal IDup Shop and IDup Shop ABO do not count against that limit.
Keeping it honest
- Credentials live in the connection settings, never in a product or an order.
- Import is protected against duplicates, so a retried webhook does not produce a second invoice.
- New orders can raise a push notification under New orders.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
