Three tools help a newsletter perform better.

Where to find itMarketing → Newsletter → Campaigns

A/B test of the subject

  1. Switch on A/B test of the subject and enter Subject B.
  2. Choose the share of recipients that take part, from 10 to 50 percent. Half get subject A, half get subject B.
  3. Set the waiting time in hours and choose the winner by opens or clicks.
  4. Send. After the waiting time the better subject goes to everyone else.
  • You can pick the winner yourself without waiting.
  • With fewer than 10 recipients there is no test. Everyone gets subject A.
  • Once the test runs, the settings are locked.

Block editor

Build the mail from blocks: heading, text, image, button, divider, spacer and custom HTML. Move blocks by drag and drop or with the arrows. Placeholders such as the first name are possible. HTML from an older template is kept unchanged.

Saved audiences

Save a selection of recipients as an audience in the newsletter and reuse it. Under Automation in Marketing Automation you can provide an audience for campaigns. Campaigns know tags, lead status, sources, customer groups and countries.

CampaignsThe A/B test is only for newsletters, not for marketing automation e-mails. See Marketing automation and campaigns.
