Find your way around the workspace
The sidebar is grouped into sections, and the app uses the same structure. Once you know the groups, you can find anything.
The sidebar is long because IDup covers a lot of ground. It is not a flat list. Items sit under headings, and the heading tells you which part of the business you are in. The profile card sits at the top.
The sidebar groups
- Main Menu: Dashboard, IDup AI, My area and Approvals.
- Sales & Projects: CRM, Customers, Appointments, Leads, Projects & Tasks, Time tracking, Notes and Support.
- Communication & Marketing: Mailbox (the shared inbox), AI Studio, Marketing, Letterbox, IDup Chat and Calls.
- Finance: Payments, Accounting, Tax returns, Expenses and Commissions.
- Administration: HR management and Multiple Companies.
- Central: Employees, Signed-in devices, Audit Log, Notifications and Getting started.
- Sales & E-Commerce: Quotes & Invoices, Online Store, Point of Sale, Products & Inventory and Purchasing.
- Projects & Services, Documents / Files, Reports & Ideas and Automation / Workflows follow.
- Security / Admin, Modules, API and, in a company workspace, My account are at the end.
Which items you see depends on your plan and your permissions. Operators of the platform see one more group, IDup Platform.
Where you are
The current item is highlighted and its group is open, also on detail and edit pages.
Profile menu
Select the profile card. The menu has My Profile, My account with its own sub-items (Overview, Billing, Invoices, My tickets to IDup and Affiliate) and Language. My account appears in company workspaces and shows only what you may see.
Create new
The round Create new button (+) in the top bar lists what you can create: customer, contact, lead, staff member and more. It shows only what your permissions allow.
More ways to move
Search, favourites and the page All areas are in Search, favourites and All areas. IDup AI answers questions about your own data.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
