What IDup is, and how it is put together

IDup is a single platform rather than a bundle of tools. Accounting, invoicing, customers, projects, the shared inbox, the AI studio and the letterbox all live behind one sign-in, on one set of data, so a customer's invoice sits next to their project, their messages and their documents.

Because it is one platform, there is no integration to maintain between those parts. The connections that do exist are the genuinely external ones: your shop, your payment provider, your calendar.

The three kinds of area

After signing in you land on the area picker — the page headed Where would you like to go? with the line One login, several areas. underneath. What it lists depends on who you are:

• A company area — the full business workspace of a company you work for. This is where invoices, customers, accounting and the team live.
• My account — your own private IDup access. The picker labels it Your private IDup access (Basic). It is free, it is yours, and no company can see into it.
• A company that connected you — listed with as an employee or as a contact. You see only the relationship that company has with you.

You switch between them at any time. One password covers all of them.

What runs where

• login.idup.com — the business and private workspace: accounting, invoices, customers, projects, letterbox, team.
• ai.idup.com — AI Studio: chatbots, the channel inbox, AI writing, social media and images.
• The IDup app for iOS and Android — the same areas on a phone, plus push notifications and the camera for receipts.
