Find your way around the workspace
The sidebar is grouped into sections, and the same structure is used in the app — once you know the groups, you can find anything.
The workspace sidebar is long because IDup covers a lot of ground. It is not a flat list: items are gathered under headings, and the heading tells you which part of the business you are in.
The sidebar groups
- Dashboard — your overview, the IDup dashboard widgets and, for platform operators, the SaaS area.
- Sales & projects — leads, CRM and sales documents, customers, projects, tasks and appointments.
- Communication & marketing — the letterbox, the inbox, AI Studio, marketing and campaigns.
- Finance — expenses, cash and bank, purchasing, inventory and the vehicle fleet.
- Admin — staff, HR, payroll, recruitment, timesheets and objectives.
- Central — team, workspaces, active sessions, audit log, notification preferences and the getting-started checklist.
- Sales & e-commerce — contracts, subscriptions, the IDup Shop and connected external shops.
- Projects & services — workshops, services, asset management and warranties.
- Finance & tax — the tax module, filings and the document archive.
- AI & analytics — the AI writer, call logs and social analytics.
- Docs & automation — documents, file sharing, drives, reports, automation and utilities.
- System admin — MFA, setup and settings.
Three shortcuts worth learning
- The search box in the top bar searches across the workspace, not just the page you are on.
- Central → Getting started is a live checklist: it detects what you have already set up across all three parts of IDup.
- IDup AI in the sidebar answers questions about your own data and can fetch things for you instead of you navigating to them.
