Sign in with an email code or a passkey
After your password, IDup sends a six-digit code by e-mail. A passkey can replace the code. This is how sign-in and sign-out work.
A password alone is not enough to reach your data. The second factor is a six-digit code sent to the e-mail address on your account. Customers always receive it. For staff it is a personal setting.
Step by step
- Enter your e-mail address and password. If asked, answer the small security check.
- On the next screen, Check your email, type the six-digit code.
- Select Confirm and sign in. You land on the area picker, Where would you like to go?
If the code does not arrive
- Check the spam folder.
- A code is valid for 10 minutes. After that, sign in again.
- Select Send a new code. Wait a minute between requests.
- Select Use a different account if you typed the wrong address.
After several failed attempts, sign-in is blocked for a few minutes.
Switch two-factor on
For staff, two-factor sign-in is a personal setting, so one person can require a code while another does not. The Getting started list on your start page reminds you with the step Turn on two-factor sign-in.
Use a passkey instead
A passkey lets you sign in with your fingerprint, face or device PIN. It replaces the e-mail code, and the passkey stays on your device. Open My account → Security → Passkeys and select Add passkey. To add one, sign in with password and code first. At sign-in, choose Sign in with passkey. Password and code stay as the fallback.
In the app
The app asks for the same e-mail and password and switches to the code screen by itself. You can switch on Face ID or fingerprint under Settings.
Sign out
Signing out in IDup, in AI Studio or in the inbox signs you out of all of them in that browser. Under My account → Security → My devices you can sign out a single device or choose Sign out everywhere.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
