Create your IDup account
How a company account and a private account come into existence — and why they are two different routes.
There are two ways into IDup, and which one applies to you decides what you do first.
Route 1 — you are starting a company workspace
Pick the plan family that matches you on the pricing pages, then start from there. The four families are business, private, tax advisor and trustee; each has three plans.
- Open the pricing page for your case: business, private, tax advisor or trustee.
- Compare the three plans in that family. What separates them is the number of employees, the number of customers and contacts, storage, and for the professional families the number of tax clients or mandates.
- Start the plan you want. Every paid plan begins with a 30-day trial; the private Basic plan is free with no time limit.
- You receive your workspace address and sign in at login.idup.com.
- Work through Getting started in the sidebar — it is a checklist that knows which steps you have already done.
Route 2 — a company invited you
If a company you work for or buy from uses IDup, it can set up a personal account for you. You get an e-mail with the subject “… has set up an IDup account for you”, and the body explains it plainly: the account is free and it is yours, even if you later leave that company.
- Open the e-mail and select Set up access. The link is valid for 7 days and can be used once.
- On the page Set up your access, choose a password. It needs at least 10 characters, with an upper-case letter, a lower-case letter and a digit.
- Repeat the password in the second box.
- Tick I accept the terms and conditions and the privacy policy. Both are linked next to the box.
- Select Set up access and continue. You then see: your access is ready — sign in now, and you will receive a six-digit code by e-mail.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
