Tenants use the customer area in the browser or in the IDup app. They look up rent and the lease themselves and report damage without a phone call.

Where to find itCustomers → Customers, column Portal / App.

Invite a tenant

  1. Open the customer list. In the column Portal / App click Invite and choose Send by email or Show QR code. The QR code can be printed or shown on a screen.
  2. The status then reads Invited on with the date and Send again, and after the first sign-in Active with the last sign-in. If the e-mail is missing, Add email appears.
  3. To invite several tenants, tick them and click Invite selected. Tenants without an e-mail address or invited in the last 24 hours are skipped and named.

What the tenant sees

  • My home: rent, start, notice period, utility cost advance and the lease with View lease.
  • Rent account: balance, a 12-month grid with a choice of year, payment history and the statement as PDF. A button Pay … now appears only if you have connected a payment method. Payment details and the QR payment slips (PDF) are there too.
  • Payment reminders and dunning notices with their deadline.
  • Report damage and My reports.

Report damage

The tenant describes what happened and adds photos. The tenant gets a confirmation by e-mail, follows the status and can reply to your messages. Up to 10 reports per hour are accepted. Your team sees each report as a case, see Maintenance cases and deadlines.

OwnersA customer who owns a property you manage under a mandate sees a read-only block My properties in the customer area, with key figures, rent roll and statements.
