Prepare and file a tax return
The tax area builds the filing from what is already in the books, and keeps the finished documents.
A tax filing is mostly the act of restating what the year already says. IDup therefore starts it from the ledger rather than from a blank form.
Step by step
- Open Tax & accounting → Dashboard for the current position.
- Check Invoices and Expenses from the same menu — these are the two sides the filing is built from, and this is the last chance to correct them.
- Open Tax report for the period you are filing.
- Start the filing under Tax declaration. It is prefilled from the figures; you complete what only you know.
- File it, then keep the result in Document archive, where it stays with the year it belongs to.
- Settings in the same menu holds the rates, the periods and the defaults.
If a professional files for you
A tax advisor or a trustee can be connected to you and see only your mandate. See Work with a tax advisor or trustee.
Which plans have it
Tax filing is in every plan family, including the free private Basic plan.
