Request a payment with a link or QR code
Ask for an amount without an invoice. The payer gets a link, a QR code and a PDF with a Swiss QR bill.
A payment request is for the cases where you want money now: a consultation, a deposit, a sale on site. You do not need an invoice first.
Step by step
- Choose Request payment.
- Enter the Amount, the currency and the Purpose. The purpose can be up to 120 characters.
- Add a customer if you want. Enter the e-mail address of the payer, or a mobile number for SMS or WhatsApp.
- Set Valid until and the VAT.
- Choose the payment methods. Only methods you connected are offered. TWINT is only available in CHF. The bank transfer with a Swiss QR bill needs an IBAN and works in CHF and EUR.
- Choose Create link.
Share it
You get a payment link, a QR code and a PDF with the QR bill. Send it by e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp, copy the link, or show the QR code full screen for a customer in front of you. The payer chooses the method on a page in their own language.
Follow it
The list shows each request as Open, Paid, Expired or Cancelled. You can set a reminder after a number of days. You can send a reminder by hand or cancel a request. A cancelled link can no longer be used.
When the payer has paid, a receipt is created and sent. If someone pays a request that is already paid, the second payment goes to To review.
Settings
In the settings of Payments you set for how many days links stay valid and enter the IBAN for the QR bill.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
