Warehouse and inventory
Stock for every product across all channels, with movements, minimum stock and corrections.
Stock you cannot count is stock you over-order and under-sell. Inventory keeps the movements, not only a number.
Step by step
- Open Products & Inventory → Products & Services and turn on stock for each physical product. Set a minimum stock there if you want a warning.
- Open Inventory → Stock Levels. You see the stock of every product across all channels. Search by name, SKU or barcode, or filter by Below minimum and Out of stock.
- Record arrivals with Goods Receipt under Purchasing. Stock goes up when you record the receipt.
- When a count does not match, press Adjust. Choose Counted, Add or Remove, enter the quantity and give a reason. The reason is required.
- Open Stock Movements to see every change with its source and reason. Minimum Stock lists what needs reordering.
What changes stock
Sales in the online shop and at the point of sale, invoices, delivery notes once delivered, goods receipts and your corrections all write to the same stock record. A variant counts only its own stock.
Rules to know
- An invoice or delivery note is not saved if stock is not enough. Drafts are allowed.
- Per product you can switch on Allow selling when stock is 0.
- A correction can never take stock below 0.
- When stock falls to the minimum, you get one bell and push message for that drop.
Several warehouses
Under Inventory you also find Stock by warehouse, Warehouse journal, Stock Adjustments, Goods Issue, Packing Lists, Internal Transfers, Returns, Warehouses, Reports and Settings. Use them when you hold stock in more than one location.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
