Fixed assets and equipment
What the company owns, who has it, and what it is worth now.
Equipment that is not recorded is equipment nobody can find and nobody depreciates. Both cost money.
Step by step
- Open Asset management → Assets and record each item with its purchase date and price.
- Assign it to a person or a location; My assets is what each employee has.
- Run Audits to check that the record matches reality, using the QR scanner to check items off quickly.
- Keep the value current with Depreciation and, where it applies, Appreciation.
- Read Reports for the asset register; Settings holds categories and defaults.
Warranties
Warranties → Warranty information records what is still under warranty and Warranty claim information the claims made against it. Its Settings holds the defaults. Keeping warranties beside assets is what turns a broken machine into a claim rather than a purchase.
Equipment your customers hold
Where you give equipment to customers, the equipment portal shows each customer what they have, on the web and in the app.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
