Service management
Services, subscription services, orders and contracts with appendices.
A service is not a product with a different name. It has a term, a scope and often an appendix, and this area holds all three.
Where to find itServices
Step by step
- Open Services → Services and define what you deliver.
- Define recurring services under Subscription services.
- Record each engagement under Orders.
- Keep the Contracts that govern them. Record changes as an Appendix rather than editing the original.
Settings holds the categories and defaults.
Billing a service
Bill a service as usual with an invoice. See Create and send an invoice. Recurring billing is described in Subscriptions and recurring billing.
Services and repairsFor devices that come in for repair, use Workshops and repair jobs instead.
