Contracts with online signature

Have contracts signed online by one or several people, in a fixed order, and keep track of term and termination.

A contract is signed the same way as a quote. On top of that, several people can sign in a set order, and IDup tracks the term, the renewal and the notice period.

Where to find itQuotes & Invoices → Contracts.

Step by step

  1. Open Quotes & Invoices → Contracts and choose New contract.
  2. Fill in the customer, the subject, the dates and the value.
  3. Under Online signature define who signs. Add a contact, an employee or another person. Put them in order.
  4. Choose Send for signature.

The next person only receives the link after the previous one has signed. Usually the customer signs first and your company counter-signs. When everyone has signed, all parties receive the signed PDF with the audit trail.

Reminders

Reminders go to the person whose turn it is. You can send one by hand with Send reminder. In the settings you choose how many days apart and how many reminders at most.

Term and termination

  • Set the term. Choose Renew automatically and the renewal period in months if the contract continues unless terminated.
  • Enter the notice period in days. IDup shows the date by which the contract must be terminated.
  • Terminate contract records the termination as of a date. You can withdraw it.
  • You are warned a number of days before the contract expires.

Overview

The tabs are All, Active, To be signed, Expiring soon, Expired, Terminated and Trash. The key figures show the value of active contracts.

Ready-made contract templates are under Templates. See Templates for documents and e-mails.
