Payments is the place where money coming in is collected, checked and booked. Every payment is checked automatically. You only decide the unclear ones.

Where to find itPayments.

The sidebar has seven items: Overview, Transactions, To review, Request payments, Payouts, Credit & prepayments and Settings.

Overview

It shows what you received this month, with fees and the previous month, a chart of the last 12 weeks, open payment requests, the next payout, the balance per account and the latest transactions. If nothing is connected yet, it asks you to connect your first account.

How a payment is matched

  • IDup looks for the QR-bill reference, the invoice number in the text, details from the provider, or customer and amount.
  • A clear match is recorded on the invoice. The invoice is marked as paid, and the customer gets a receipt.
  • A clear payment without an invoice becomes a receipt.
  • Anything unclear goes to To review. A refund or chargeback is booked as a counter-entry.
  • The same payment is never booked twice.

To review

For each payment choose Confirm, assign an invoice, create a receipt or ignore it. An ignored payment can be restored. The number of open items shows in red in the sidebar.

Transactions, payouts and rules

Transactions can be filtered, searched and exported as CSV. Payouts compares the payouts of providers with the bank. Fees are booked as expenses. Under Settings → Rules you set rules by IBAN, text or amount. IDup also learns an IBAN from your confirmations.

Customer credit

Credit & prepayments holds the balance of each customer. An overpayment is kept there. Customers see their balance in their own account.
