Invite a customer or an employee
Inviting is a tick box next to the person. Nobody is invited without it.
Invitations in IDup are explicit. Employee and contact forms have a tick box labelled Invite to IDup. Its hint reads Own account for web and app – free of charge. If the box is not ticked, no invitation is sent.
Step by step
- Open the person's record. An employee is under Central → Team. A contact is on the customer.
- Make sure the e-mail address is filled in. Without one the status shows E-mail missing and nobody can be invited.
- Tick Invite to IDup and save. The invitation is queued.
- Watch the IDup app column. It shows Not invited, Invited (today), Invited (x days ago), Scheduled, Active, Invitation expired, E-mail invalid or Deactivated.
- If someone has not acted on it, select Send again on their row.
Inviting many people at once
The page Invite everyone offers two actions: Invite all who are not invited yet and Invite selected.
A daily limit applies per company, so that a whole address book does not go out in one burst. Anything beyond it is marked Scheduled and sent the next day. The page tells you how many invitations are still possible today.
Pre-ticking the box
On the IDup connections page, two options set the default for new people: Tick set by default for new employees and Tick set by default for new contacts. They are separate on purpose.
Ending a connection
- Find the person on the list.
- Select Disconnect.
- The system confirms: Connection ended. The person keeps their own private account.
Your company disappears from their list. A running hours timer is stopped automatically and the reason is recorded.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
