Connect your team & customers

Your free private account

When a company invites you, the account you get is yours — free, with no time limit, and it survives leaving that company.

The invitation e-mail says it plainly: the company has set up a personal IDup account for you, it is free, and it is yours even if you later leave that company.

That is the whole idea. The company pays for its own workspace; your personal account costs nothing and is not tied to them.

Step by step

  1. Open the invitation e-mail and select Set up access. The link works once and is valid for 7 days.
  2. Choose a password — at least 10 characters, with an upper-case letter, a lower-case letter and a digit — and repeat it.
  3. Tick I accept the terms and conditions and the privacy policy.
  4. Select Set up access and continue.
  5. Sign in. You will receive a six-digit code by e-mail, and then you are in.

What the account contains

It is the private Basic plan: free, with no time limit. It includes your own area for documents, notes, appointments, reminders and simple accounting, plus the connection to the company that invited you.

If you later want the letterbox or the ability to write your own invoices, you can move to Plus or Premium — see Private plans.

If several companies invite you

  • They all land in the same account. You do not get a second login.
  • Each appears in the area picker with as an employee or as a contact.
  • None of them can see the others.
  • If one connection ends, the rest are unaffected.

If the link expired

The page tells you so and what to do: ask the company to send a new invitation. On their side that is one click — Send again.
