A good start is a list of small things done on time. Onboarding turns that list into tasks with owners and due dates. Offboarding does the same for leaving.

Where to find itEmployees → Onboarding

Step by step

  1. Open Employees → Onboarding. The list Joiners & leavers shows progress, overdue items and the next step.
  2. Press Start onboarding and choose a template, or just enter a start date for a new employee.
  3. IDup creates the steps: welcome message, app invitation, personal details, document uploads, contract signature, tasks for HR, IT, the manager or a buddy, documents to read, training and review meetings.
  4. The new person sees My start with a countdown, the first day, the buddy, the first week and their open tasks.
  5. To close out a leaver, press Start offboarding. The template covers exit interview, handover, reference letter, returning equipment, locking access and archiving.

Templates

IDup includes ready-made templates for staff and for customers. Copy them, edit steps, hide them or reset them to the IDup standard. A change applies only to onboardings started afterwards.

Good to knowThe app invitation is sent only when somebody presses the button. Automatic starts apply only to people created after the feature was switched on. Existing staff are never started retroactively. An answer in the feedback survey can be anonymous.
