Property management
Where property work lives in IDup: managing rented property, and buying, marketing and selling it.
Property work is record-keeping about things that do not move and people who do. IDup has two areas for it, and they work together.
Properties: managing rented property
- Record each building and its units, see Properties and units.
- Create leases for your tenants, see Leases and tenants, and send the agreement for signing online, see Online rental agreement.
- Follow the rent in Rent payments and the rent account and chase late payments with Reminders and dunning for rent.
- Send owners the rent roll and settle costs with the utility cost statement.
- Let tenants report damage in the tenant portal and handle it as maintenance cases.
- When a tenant moves out, use the tenant change assistant.
Real estate: buy, renovate, market, sell
Each property moves through Acquisition / review, Purchase, Renovation, Marketing and then Sold or Let. Prospects, viewings and listings are described in Market, let and sell. For larger projects the property file also has tabs for development, valuation, site journal, mandates, condition and energy, rights and insurance, and condominium.
In a private Premium account
The same kind of area is part of the private Premium plan, see Assets and property in a private account.
Nothing is tracked — the buttons only open a message so you can tell us what was missing.
